Description
As part of the MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program, Wellesley will provide nine (9) African women with complete support that includes scholarships, mentoring, counseling, and internship opportunities for undergraduate studies.
It is expected of scholars at Wellesley to build experiences, values, and competencies that are critical to success in the global economy, and that enable them to give back to their communities and home countries.
The students will arrive in groups of three students each year. It covers for undergraduate degree.
Eligibility Criteria
The SAT or the ACT Plus Writing is required for all undergraduate applicants. Applications without SAT or ACT Plus Writing scores will not be considered for admission.

You may submit your IELTS scores but note that Stanford does not recognize the IELTS as a measure of English proficiency.

Value of Scholarship:
In past years, grants of up to US$15,000 have been awarded in the US/Canada program, and US$7,000 in Africa, Latin America, and Trinity programs. Grant amounts may vary, based on exchange rates and availability of funds.
The Scholars Program will support five (5) undergraduates from Sub-Saharan Africa each year, according to Karen Cooper, director of financial aid.

The application process is the same for all applicants regardless of citizenship or country of residence.
